Anil Natyaveda, a revered master practitioner and teacher of Kalari ppayattu, one of the oldest and most comprehensive martial arts in the world. With a lifelong dedication to this ancient art form, Anil began his training at the tender age of seven in a small village in Kerala, India. Under the guidance of multiple renowned gurus, including Chellappan Asan, Govindan Kutty Gurukkal, Babu Raj Gurukkal, Vembayam Appukuttan, and Sasidharan Asan, Anil has honed his skills and deepened his understanding of Kalari's rich philosophy, history, and techniques. As Co-Director of SINDHOOR/NATYAVEDA - Navarasa Dance Theater in Los Angeles, Anil has spent over two decades sharing his expertise with students and audiences around the world, inspiring a new generation of practitioners and earning widespread recognition for his remarkable skill, artistry, and commitment to preserving this precious cultural heritage.
